RUPTURE VALVE JLRV0014-0.75C/JLRV008

The rupture valve is a key safety component installed in hydraulic elevator systems in accordance with the specifications of EN 81-20:2020.

Its main function is as follows: in the event of a system hose rupture or the car descending beyond the permissible limit speed, the rupture valve will quickly cut off the oil circuit within the time specified in EN 81-20:2020, ensuring that the car stops smoothly and effectively preventing safety accidents caused by uncontrolled descent.

After the fault is resolved, the rupture valve can be reset either by using an optional hand pump or by operating the hydraulic station via the elevator upward function in the maintenance mode of the electrical control cabinet.
